The Children’s Ministry Pastor/Director is responsible for leading, nurturing, and overseeing the spiritual development of the children of our church, primarily from preschool through elementary ages. This position partners with parents, volunteers, and church leadership to provide a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered environment where children can grow in their understanding of God’s love and develop a foundation of faith. This position also requires planning, organizing, developing, implementing and managing a dynamic ministry to children.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, university or seminary preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience working with children preferred.
• A deep knowledge of the Bible and Christian theology.
• Ability to effectively communicate with young people, adults and families.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
• A passion for helping children grow in their faith.
Supervision:
This position reports directly to the Senior Pastor.
